Veterans’ Week is November 5 to 11. This year’s theme is “Service, courage and sacrifice—at home, around the world, and across generations.” Canadians are encouraged to honour all those who have served our country in times of war, military conflict, and peace. November 8—Indigenous Veterans Day—recognizes the many contributions of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit service members over the years. Wear a poppy with pride and explore stories. Visit ncpl.ca or your local Branch to learn more. | |
