We’re so excited you’ll be joining us for “From Nourish to Flourish” with Shawn Ginwright, the virtual launch of a new collaborative of organizations committed to celebrating and elevating boys and young men of color. This event will take place this Thursday, June 30, from 6:30 - 8:00 pm ET/ 3:30 - 5:00 pm PT, and will feature our friend in the movement and partner in the collaborative, Dr. Shawn Ginwright, who is the founder and CEO of Flourish Agenda, Inc. and author of the new book, The Four Pivots: Reimagining Justice, Reimagining Ourselves.

Event Highlights


Dr. Ginwright will facilitate a conversation with a panel of young men and dedicated adult advocates about how their lives and work are influenced by the four pivots. The panel will include:

  • Ariel Jimenez, La Cultura Cura Network/Program Coordinator, National Compadres Network
  • Louis Morren, Student, Excelsior Preparatory High School

  • Tavae Samuelu, Executive Director, Empowering Pacific Islander Communities (EPIC)
  • Ron Walker, Founder and Executive Director, COSEBOC
