The fun begins with a performance by Oklahoma Scottish Pipes and Drums. Guests can enjoy beer, food trucks and a variety of vendors. Each child’s wristband includes access to crafts, games, and activities best suited for ages 4 to 10. Face painting by Kaleidoscope Arts and Pillar Designs. Wine & Palette will be doing “Lucky” pop-in painting activities. Paint on small canvas panels (4"×4" - $5 & 5"×7"- $10).

Planning to participate in the OKC Memorial Marathon 5k? Get a jump start by running in the Go Green Run @ Together Square. Enjoy a leisurely 5k run through downtown, beginning at Together Square, led by OKRunner. This run will be timed for those keeping track. The route will go around Scissortail Park giving a sneak peek of where the OKC Memorial Marathon will end this year. See the map route here

The first 50 registrants will receive two complimentary green cans of F5 IPA and green coozies from COOP Ale Works will be available to all registrants 21 and older. St. Patrick’s Day music will be provided by Leashed dogs are welcome and this is a stroller-friendly run. The run starts at 8am and registration is $10. Register online here.

Looking for something fun to do over Spring Break? Join us in the Children’s Garden as we celebrate the coming of spring with a different hands-on activity each day. We’ll plant flower seeds on Monday, do fruit and veggie stamping on Tuesday and create a weather wind stick on Wednesday.

Join us in the Children’s Garden for an hour of songs, games and interactive nature fun. Toddlers (and parents!) will get to learn about the exciting world of gardens in an engaging and educational way. Each week features a new theme with corresponding activities and learning opportunities. Every Little Saplings event begins with a song, ends with a sensory bin and includes a hands-on craft.

Local, regional and national speakers will share insight and inspiration for home gardeners as well as professional horticulturalists, garden designers and landscape architects during Oklahoma Gardening School Saturday, March 21. The annual symposium, a program hosted by Myriad Botanical Gardens, will be held at Oklahoma City University in Kerr-McGee Auditorium, Meinders School of Business, NW 25th and McKinley, from 8am to 3pm.
