Hello Julie Ann!
Happy holidays to all! As we approach the end of the year, I want to extend warm wishes for joy and peace to each and every one of you. It's been an exciting time for Metro Interiors, and I'm thrilled to share some updates in our December newsletter.
Recently, Metro Interiors embarked on a transformative two-part remodel, breathing new life into the community rooms at Falcon Heights Town Square Senior Apartments and the Complex Leasing Office next door. These spaces were transformed into vibrant, modern havens that truly embody the spirit of renewal and community enhancement.
I also recently had the privilege of being a guest speaker at the Bloomington High School Class on Happiness, led by the dedicated Susan Bianchi. It was an enriching experience discussing Feng Shui and interior design with the students, sharing insights on the impact of their surroundings on well-being and happiness. The class, which has been a valuable elective at Jefferson since 2010, focuses on mindfulness and provides tools to reframe perspectives amid stress. Thank you to Ms. Bianchi and the entire Happiness class for the opportunity to inspire and connect with these young minds, exploring how simple changes, like decluttering and thoughtful room design, can contribute to a more fulfilling and joyful life.
Looking ahead, I'm excited to announce an upcoming vision board class with the talented Kellee White. It's an opportunity for us to come together, set intentions for the new year, and manifest our dreams through visualization. I'm also excited for a trip to the Las Vegas Furniture Market. In pursuit of staying at the forefront of design, I plan to attend the Furniture Market to discover the latest styles for my clients. It's always inspiring to find fresh ideas that can elevate the aesthetics of my upcoming client projects.
Lastly, I invite you to check out my latest podcasts (links are shown below), where I delve into discussions about my recently published feng shui book, "Change Your Space to Change Your Life: Elevate Your Energy with Feng Shui One Room at a Time." I'm passionate about sharing insights on how thoughtful design can positively impact our lives and it's always interesting when the discussion evolves with every interview.
Wishing you all a joyful holiday season and a fantastic start to the new year!
Warm regards,
Julie Ann
