The holiday season is here! While it is a time of great wonder and joy, it can also present dangers and risks to be avoided. In order to best enjoy your time with family and friends, we recommend the following steps for a safe holiday:

  • Be Diligent When Driving - During the Holiday Season, there is an increase in traffic and in the number of impaired drivers. Always drive defensively.

  • Be Cognizant Of The Stressors That The Season Brings – While the Holiday Season is generally filled with fun and excitement, many can suffer from bouts of depression, anxiety, and substance abuse. Sometimes a smile can change everything- for you and the recipient.

  • Enjoy This Holiday Season, But Do So Safely– If you are going to drink alcohol, please do not drink and drive! If you are going to go out and consume alcohol, please arrange for a designated driver, call a cab or utilize a ride sharing company.

  • Avoid Making Risky Decisions – Often times poor choices, such as drinking and driving, using illegal or excessive substances, and/or acting out on all the strong emotions of the Holiday Season, can have a negative impact on your professional license and your career. Be mindful of the consequences any decision you make may have on your career.
