This is an introduction course about the different types and levels of trauma (physical, mental and spiritual) and how trauma may impact people. This course will review general protocols and the use of various tools for energy healings.

 All you ever wanted to know about practicing legally, ethically, & correctly in your Psychic & Healing Work. Diana Friedell, Director at ISD, & JoAnn Wormuth, Healing Program Director, review good practice & required protocol for giving messages from Spirit within ISD and in NY State. As spiritual beings how do we receive our psychic information? In what ways are we receiving messages, reading energy, and experiencing those things around us that we cannot physically hear, see, or touch?

And as human beings, how do we interact and understand those around us in the physical world? How do we begin to learn what we are receiving intuitively and what is the ‘junk’ that we have picked up from others?

What can be said in New Year rhymes,

That’s not been said a thousand times?

The new years come, the old years go,

We know we dream, we dream we know.

We rise up laughing with the light,

We lie down weeping with the night.

We hug the world until it stings,

We curse it then and sigh for wings.

We live, we love, we woo, we wed,

We wreathe our brides, we sheet our dead.

We laugh, we weep, we hope, we fear,

And that’s the burden of the year.

ASTROLOGY FORCAST (Dec 28 - Jan 4)

For the second time in 3 weeks the dance of the planets is providing us with several days when half the planets are lining up conjunct to each other. This is the result of the bowl formation in the Eastern hemisphere of the star chart I mentioned last week. The fact that it is forming around the New Year and the New Moon is auspicious. We are greatly favored at the end of a challenging year.

The conjunctions this next week are:

We have 7 conjunctions in 7 days between the personal heavenly bodies, (Sun, Moon, Mercury, and Venus.) and the outer generational/ worldly universal planets Saturn and Pluto; How helpful to have the magic and alchemy of 7 to work with us at the time of year when our species closes one time period and celebrates the commencement of the next.

Conjunctions are particularly helpful when you wish to invoke the best of multiple aspects and principles. The planets mutually intensify one another, and it is largely beneficial.

Remember, also, that Jupiter is on the Cusp of Aquarius/Pisces at 1° Pisces this week. When planets are on the cusp between signs and houses, this blends multiple attributes together for a while. This is the 1st decanate (10 days) of Pisces. The keyword is imagination, and the associated constellation is Pegasus. Also still influencing the mix is the 3rd decanate( last 10 days) of Aquarius. The keyword is association, and the sub ruler is Venus, who works particularly well with Jupiter.

As we reach New Year's Day we have a very strong energy of 8. The date reduces to an "8" (1+0+1+2+0+2+2). The day of the week is Saturday which is ruled by Saturn with a planetary number of 8. The 8 in Numerology is associated with Abundance, Infinity, and the responsible use of power.

The New Moon is in Capricorn on Jan 2nd. The traditional day to begin new ventures each month comes the following day after our worlds traditional day to begin a new yearly cycle. The Sun and Moon conjunct always invites us to combine the outward/inward, male/female, structure/content together to create a lovely, well-rounded result that works for everyone.

How does all of this help you ask? It's a lot to remember! The goal is not to give you a headache, I promise!

I hope you have noticed the cyclical nature of the Star/Planetary alignments. You have MULTIPLE chances to use the tools of Astrology, Numerology, and other such systems. They are available to assist. They are not designed to be intimidating. They are tools, hints to the mystery.

I suggest that you need not consciously keep track of all this detail. You will always naturally pick and choose which elements to utilize from all the complexity. You have guides. You have your Soul to escort you on the journey. Your part of the assignment is to drive the car and enjoy the trip as much as possible. Relax and Allow the Spiritual Flow to guide you to the best energies for you at the time. You are creating a unique piece of the puzzle.

The ultimate beauty is that we are in this together while we create separately. May you create a fantastic 2022 and find your Godspeed!
