From the Hartwood family, we would like to say THANK YOU for the support in 2021. We are proud to say that your support was the best we have ever had. Your contributions are our lifeline to upkeep in the homes, group outings, social events in the homes and makes a difference in our residents every day lives. The strain of the pandemic has made home life more difficult on everyone, but much more so on our residents. WE are deeply thankful for your continued support in 2022.

Duck Blind Group Home
Meet our residents
Duck Blind group home, established in 2001, is located in Henrico county and is one of three homes in the Richmond vicinity. Duck Blind currently serves five residents. We are a close knit house and love assembling things together. We enjoy our time together and we are eager to return to TGI Fridays for some great lunches and dinners! Christmas time is our favorite time of year!
Continued fun during some trying times are had here!
The pandemic has limited our group outings, but we are hopeful the continued decline will enable us to get out and enjoy our customary events! 
IMPORTANT UPDATE!
Virginia legislators went back into session on January 20th and we need your support. Please consider calling to voice your opinion regarding support for the Developmentally Disabled.
While the General Assembly is poised to pass budget amendments which will help us to address the workforce crisis, our advocacy work is not over. Those very amendments are headed to conference and the conferees will be appointed this week. Once we know who is selected, we will send out those names and “talking points” so calls can be made and emails sent.
