3 strategies for you to get
in front of the right people
— and stay top of mind
Our WBEC Florida President and CEO Nancy Allen likes to say: "People do business with people they know, they like, and they trust." Building visibility and credibility is essential for you as a woman business owner if you want to expand your company's reach and attract new opportunities.
Here are three effective ways to do just that:
-
Attend conferences. Industry conferences, expos, and summits give you face-to-face access to decision makers. Beyond networking, they allow you to showcase your expertise, learn market trends, and build lasting connections. See below for details about this month's Go for the Greens conference!
-
Stay active on LinkedIn. Share insights, celebrate wins, and engage with others’ posts regularly. A consistent presence keeps you top of mind with your network and positions you as a thought leader.
-
Collaborate with strategic partners. Look for businesses to team up with. Partnerships expand your reach without doubling your marketing spend.
By showing up consistently — in person and online — you build the relationships that lead to trust. And trust is the foundation of every successful business relationship.
Let us know how we can help ... until then, we'll look for you out there!

WBENC Announces Nedra Dickson
as the Interim President & CEO
We are sharing this message from the WBENC Network:
Recently, we came together in profound sorrow to mourn the sudden loss of our beloved President & CEO, Pamela Prince-Eason. Pam was more than a leader—she was a trailblazer, mentor, and tireless advocate for women-owned businesses and entrepreneurs. Her vision, dedication, and leadership elevated WBENC to new heights and strengthened the broader ecosystem of women-led enterprises. Her legacy continues to guide and inspire us.
As we honor Pam’s extraordinary contributions, the WBENC Executive Committee has appointed Nedra Dickson as Interim President & CEO.
Nedra has been serving as the WBENC Board Chair since January 2023, working closely with Pam and WBENC leadership throughout that time. She also recently retired from her longtime leadership role with Accenture and has been involved with WBENC and our partner organizations for many years.
