As a reminder, the Council Chambers remain closed for in-person meetings. All City public meetings will be hosted virtually until further notice.
Health and Environmental Justice Educational Forum

Learn more about environmental justice and how planning impacts the health of Ventura residents in our upcoming educational forum on Tuesday, September 21 at 6pm.

This will be a joint meeting with the General Plan Advisory Committee. Advanced registration is encouraged.

Registration Open

Community Cleanup & Recycling Day is back! City of Ventura residents* are invited to drop off their unwanted items for proper disposal and recycling on Saturday, October 2 from 8:30-11:30am.

Limited secure document shred services will also be available.

*Pre-registration and proof of residency are required.

The public survey for our Active Transportation Plan (ATP) is in its final days!

Tell us your experience walking, biking, and taking transit in the City. Your feedback is critical in the development of a roadmap that will prioritize projects to make it easier to travel throughout Ventura.

Know the Sound of
Evacuation Orders

If evacuations are ordered, the Ventura Police Department will utilize the new Hi-Lo Warning System to let residents know when it's time to evacuate.

Residents should also register for disaster notices from VC Alert and follow VPD on social media for timely updates during emergencies.
