Each Sunday we worship in person and online. We are always glad when you worship with us. Nursery care is offered, and activity bags are available at the church entrance to keep little hearts and hands engaged.

Before worship, all youth and adults are invited to sing in our summer choir. After worship, please stay for a Coffee & Conversation in the Parish Hall.

Make a Joyful Noise! Summer Choir Welcomes All

During the summer months, all interested adults and teenagers are invited to sing with the Chancel Choir in worship. We meet at 9 a.m. on Sundays to rehearse before worship, and we hope to fill the chancel seats with a joyful, summer choir! For more information, contact Ann Doyle . 

It’s EfM Enrollment Season! Sign Up for Education for Ministry Fall Classes

Sign Up by July 1

EfM is a substantive study of the Christian tradition paired with a weekly seminar that helps us make deep connections between our everyday life and the tradition. We hope to have two groups starting this fall—one each on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, 6:00–8:30 p.m. To create these groups, we need confirmation of your intention to enroll, by July 1, even if you already gave us your name at the recent informational meeting. We will then register the groups, and participants will be able to enroll and pay tuition mid-July. Please contact Brenda Swearingin (336-423-6876) or Tricia de Beer (336-457-4524).

Tell a Friend! Compassion Camp is the Place to Be

July 27–31 (9a-12p Daily)

We’re getting so excited about our Compassion Camp week of Bible stories, gardening, crafting, learning, yoga, and animal visitors, so be sure to mark your calendars and make your plans to attend.

Compassion Camp is fully inclusive and is for ages 4–9 and runs Monday–Friday, 9 a.m.–12 p.m. The cost is $50 for the week, and scholarships are available. Ages 10 and up are welcome to come as volunteers. Sign up your Campers and Helpers at the link below.

Hunger Doesn't Take a Vacation

Summer Planning for Food Donations

When schools close for the summer, the number of children and families facing hunger or eating poorly increases dramatically. The SimpleWays food pantry needs your continued and increased support in the summer. If you will be on vacation, consider doubling up before you go or on your return. Our donations are delivered weekly to the food pantry housed at Definition Church on Merritt Drive.

Most needed food items include: rice, pasta, beans (dried and canned), canned vegetables, and canned meats and fish. You can pick up and drop off bags in the Sanctuary narthex and the hallway by the Chapel. Contact Doug Sanecki with questions.

GCS Summer Meals Program

People 18 years and younger who live in Guilford County can pick up free meals this summer. 

This summer, running now through August 13, Guilford County Schools will have meals available for families with children under 18. Families have the option of picking up meals to-go or dining in. Details are provided at the link below, where you can also complete the required registration for the program.

Our Pre-Loved Puzzle Collection Is Ongoing

Coupons Now Available!



Have a puzzle you loved but no longer need? Deck the Halls has an opportunity for you! This year we will offer used, complete jigsaw puzzles for sale. For each pre-loved puzzle you donate between now and October 1, you will receive a coupon for $1 off of one puzzle you purchase at the Deck the Halls event on December 5. Just place your complete puzzle donation in the “Got Puzzles?” bin in the Parish Hall, and take one coupon per donated puzzle. Look for the bag of green coupons in the puzzle bin. Coupons are available to St. Andrew’s members and friends. You may earn multiple coupons, but coupons can’t be combined (i.e., you may use one coupon toward each puzzle purchased). 

Bishop Sam Rodman Calls for Election of the 13th Bishop of the Diocese of North Carolina

After much prayer, thoughtful conversation and discernment, I am writing today to let you know that I have made the decision to call for the election of the 13th bishop of the Diocese of North Carolina in November of 2027, and to retire when the new bishop is ordained and consecrated in the spring of 2028. While the decision was not an easy one, I am in a place of clarity and peace as I share this news with all of you. I am entering my 10th year as your bishop, and I look forward to the coming months as we continue our commitment to making disciples who are making a difference. ...
