Last Call! Sign Up TODAY for Our Summer Youth Service Trip

The Deadline to Sign Up is April 10!

Trip Dates: June 21-26, Charleston, SC

This summer, St. Andrew’s middle and high school youth will be heading to a new location to serve, care for, and love on our neighbors in need: Charleston, SC. We’ll be hanging with our friends at the Charleston Youth Mission (CYM), located in the Park Circle area of Charleston. We’ll spend our days serving the community while learning more about one of the oldest cities in our nation, including economic and racial disparity in that city, and we’ll have time for reflecting on God’s call for justice and equity for all. We’ll wrap up our week with a beach day and some fun adventures. The cost of this trip is $200 per person, and scholarships are available--just contact Martha.

If you are interested in going, it's time to sign up at the link below! Our signup deadline is Friday, April 10.

Let’s Gather for Breakfast at Green Valley Grill

Second Sunday of Easter, April 12

The Brotherhood of St. Andrew Invites You

Second Sundays at 8:30 a.m.

Starting April 12 (Library)

The goal of the Brotherhood of St. Andrew (or BOSA) is to inspire, empower, and equip men to fulfill the Great Commission. We address our mission by practicing the disciplines of daily prayer, regular scripture study, and service to others. St. Andrew’s has started a BOSA chapter that will meet at 8:30 a.m. in the Library on the second Sunday of the month. Please join us for our next meeting on April 12. Contact David Stokes with questions at 502-523-6396 or by email using the link below.

Join Us for Worship

10 a.m. Worship (Sanctuary)

Each Sunday we worship in person and online. We are always glad when you worship with us. Nursery care is offered, and this week our children will have Children's Chapel during Children's Ministry time. Activity bags are available at the church entrance to keep little hearts and hands engaged. After worship, please join us in the Parish Hall for Coffee & Conversation and submitting advocacy postcards, and in the Cloister for our Easter Season formation offering.

Easter Season Means Children’s Chapel!

April 12 during Worship

We invite all of our children to join us for Children’s Chapel in celebration of the Easter Season on April 12. Children will process out of the sanctuary as usual, and instead of heading to the classroom hall will go to our Children’s Chapel downstairs for a special story, thanksgiving, and communion just for the little ones.

Sharing Our Stories:

Easter Formation

Starts this Sunday, April 12

Right after 10 a.m. Worship (Cloister)

After the resurrection, those who had walked with Jesus or seen the Risen Lord, shared the stories of their encounters with God. Telling your story or writing your autobiography is an act of spiritual reflection that is an important undertaking for everyone. Our stories allow us to connect with one another and claim the ways we have been shaped and formed. Join veteran biographer and award-winning storyteller Jim Dodson for this special formation offering that invites you to consider your own life journey. Bring a notebook and your story-telling curiosity! In the Cloister beginning April 12.

Give Up Your Silence for Easter

Submit Your Postcards April 12, after Worship (Parish Hall)

This Spring we are called to join Episcopalians across the Diocese in a Give Up Your Silence postcard campaign. Please stop by the Advocacy Table in the Parish Hall after worship to write a postcard to state legislators for diocesan Advocacy Day 2026. The table has materials about legislation on current advocacy topics, as well as all postcard supplies. All cards will be sent to the diocese together to be delivered to legislators later this Spring. Please leave your postcard at the table this Sunday!

Curious about EfM for 2026–27? Come to a Drop-In Class

April 14 & 16, 6:00-8:30 p.m. (Chapel)

Openings are now available for our EfM groups for the 2026–27 year. We have scheduled two drop-in nights so those who are interested can preview the experience. On April 14 & 16 (6:00–8:30 p.m.), join us in the Chapel to engage in group discussion. This is a wonderful opportunity to see how the group functions and how we “do the work God has given us to do” through worship, reflection, and fellowship.

To sign up for a drop-in class, contact Brenda Swearingin for April 14 (336-423-6876) or Tricia de Beer for April 16 (336-457-4524). Note: If you would like to read the article for discussion in advance, copies are available in the church Library on the bookcase to the far left as you enter.

What is EfM? EfM, or Education for Ministry, is a four-year, small-group formation program based on study and practice in theological reflection. Developed by the School of Theology at the University of the South, EfM is designed to help the faithful discover the Christian tradition and bring it into conversation with their daily experiences. The program rests on the foundation that all baptized Christians are called to be ministers and provides the tools necessary to nurture that call to Christian service in the places where they live, work, and play. By participating, seekers become more theologically informed, reflective, and prepared to respond to the call of a Christian life.
