Lisa Glisson, President of the Georgia Exchange Foundation For Prevention of Child Abuse has announced our CAP foundation has awarded $4,875 in grants among five different Georgia CAP programs. Grants for $975 each went to the Exchange Club of Rome Family Resource Center, Open Arms Inc. in Albany, The Macon Foundation for the Prevention of Child Abuse in Macon. Satilla Advocacy Services in Waycross. and The Children’s Tree House Advocacy Center in Columbus. In making the presentation Lisa's letter to the agencies took notice of the increased pressure on the local centers and agencies and told them, "We are all reading and hearing that your caseloads have increased over the past few months for many reasons. Our hope and prayer is that these funds will be a blessing to your center, staff and clients and that you will see a decline very soon!"

Lisa said grants were made possible by "passing the hat" when fundraising features normally held at convention were not held. Special thanks for generous contributions of Kay Griffin, Duncan McClusky. The Exchange Club of Macon, The Exchange Club of Valdosta. The Exchange Club of Waycross, The Exchange Club of Statesboro, The Exchange Club of Albany. The Exchange Club of Tifton, and The GA District Exchange Clubs.
