On July, 19th, I taught Simple Evangelism in a 6-hour one day conference with Go Church network. 60 adults and teens from 5 churches were trained. It was such a blessed day of people growing in personal evangelism. Thank you for your prayers and support as we equip the saints for the ministry work of evangelism. On Aug 4-8, I preached at Ochoco Christian Conference Center for their High School summer camp. Although it was a small camp, God moved in big ways. We had 34 students and 9 leaders in attendance. Two students were saved during the week and the majority of the other campers made some kind of decision of confession and renewal in their walk with the Lord Jesus during the week.


One student, Rachel, shared, “This week was amazing. God really worked in my heart and convicted me about really loving people who are hard to love and going the extra mile to bless them and show them the love that Jesus has for me! One thing that I know I’ll remember forever is the last night when we had our prayer time! I saw God move in so many people’s hearts as we got honest with each other and the Lord, praying over one another and crying and letting the holy Spirit move, and begin healing in our lives.”


Another student, Abigail, shared, “I’ve struggled with loving those who are hard to love not even thinking about my attitude when I’m around them. I now see that it’s not an attitude that glorifies God. This week God showed me that I am to love everyone as Christ loves me, knowing that He loves the people that are hard for me to love, too. I can love others like Jesus loves me, not because of who they are but because of who I am in Christ. Thank you so much for taking the time off to be with us and to teach us. I learned so much! I’m praying for you and your ministry, God bless.”

On September 21, I had the opportunity to preach at Go Church - East County, my home church and the church my family and I helped plant. I wanted to share this message, A Great Commission Lifestyle: Prayer and Proclamation (Colossians 4:2-6) with you and hope you will be encouraged by it and that the Lord may put someone on your heart to share it with. On Wednesday, Sept 24th, I spoke at the UNITE student rally. I had the opportunity to preach and call students to respond to the message of the Gospel. About half a dozen students raised their hand to trust in Jesus as Lord and Savior. We had more than two dozen teens that stood up in front of their peers in response to the challenge to 1. commit themselves to spend personal time in prayer and the reading of God's Word to know God more, and 2. to invite their friends to pray with them for God to work in them and through them to share Jesus on their school campus. Thanks again for your prayers. I praise Jesus for great things He has done!!

Every man of God should make it his goal not only to run well but to finish well. From Paul’s teaching in Romans 6, case studies of Uzziah and Manasseh, and instruction from Hebrews 12, men have been learning how to finish strong. The BEST highlight of the fall term was that one of our men (52 years old) was saved on the first night of MOS in September putting his faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. He, along with another MOS guy that Mike and others had the opportunity to lead to faith in Christ, were both baptized at Go Church - East County on Nov. 9th. Rejoicing and giving praise God!
