Starting Monday, August 18, barricades will be placed along Highway 71 from Bee Creek Road to Bee Cave Parkway/Hamilton Pool Road.
This is in preparation for the SH 71 median safety project from TxDOT that will begin in the fall.
*What you need to know*:
-Median breaks will start taking effect.
-The barricades will resemble the placement of the permanent medians.
-Medians will no longer be available for unprotected left turns.
-There will be no lane closures at this time.
