The All-Property index gained 24% last year and is 14% higher than it was prior to the onset of the pandemic.

STR: U.S. Hotel Occupancy Update
Week | 20-26 February 2022

Increasing over the previous week, U.S. weekly hotel performance also reported significant increases over 2019 comparables.
|
|
US Hotel occupancy increased +3.1% over the previous week and is now sitting only -4.7% from 2019 levels.
๐น The average daily rate (ADR) was recorded a +13.1% increase over 2019 and is now sitting at $143.83
๐น The revenue per available room (RevPAR) was recorded at $, up +7.7% from 2019.
Among the Top 25 markets, Floridan cities posted the highest increases across the board.

Helped by the South Beach Wine & Food Festival, Miami posted the highest ADR & RevPAR increases:
โ ADR - +47.0% to $365.64
โ RevPAR - +55.1% to $325.36
In addition, Orlando recorded the largest occupancy increase over 2019:
โ Occupancy - +6.7% to 85.9%
