In February, Miami recorded significant ADR and RevPAR increases over its 2019 comparableโ€”+47% & +55% respectively. As its sunny weather continues to draw in tourists from across the globe, Florida is well on its way to surpassing its 2021 levels.

Where Are Commercial Property Prices Headed?
The Green Street Commercial Price Indexยฎ was unchanged in January. 

The All-Property index gained 24% last year and is 14% higher than it was prior to the onset of the pandemic.

STR: U.S. Hotel Occupancy Update
Week | 20-26 February 2022

Increasing over the previous week, U.S. weekly hotel performance also reported significant increases over 2019 comparables.
US Hotel occupancy increased +3.1% over the previous week and is now sitting only -4.7% from 2019 levels.

๐Ÿ”น The average daily rate (ADR) was recorded a +13.1% increase over 2019 and is now sitting at $143.83

๐Ÿ”น The revenue per available room (RevPAR) was recorded at $, up +7.7% from 2019.

Among the Top 25 markets, Floridan cities posted the highest increases across the board.
Helped by the South Beach Wine & Food Festival, Miami posted the highest ADR & RevPAR increases:

โžœ ADR - +47.0% to $365.64
โžœ RevPAR - +55.1% to $325.36

In addition, Orlando recorded the largest occupancy increase over 2019:

โžœ Occupancy - +6.7% to 85.9%
