Jewish Life League Letter - News and Updates
Happy Chanukah to all from JLL!
Greetings and Shalom!

We are nearing the end of Chanukah! We extend our wishes for a wonderful holiday to all our subscribers, their families and friends.
Both action and giving are important components of Chanukah, and can bring more meaningful experiences into our lives.
At The Jewish Life League we are celebrating both the Miracle of Chanukah Lights and the Miracle of Life. Both life and creation are a source of joy and endless inspiration.
The gift of life - both born and unborn - is a true Miracle to the World!
Hashem blesses all those who bless Israel.
Hashem blesses all those who save lives, both born and unborn from conception to natural death.
May the light of Hashem dispel all the darkness in the world.

Listen to the joy in the latest Chanukah song by the Maccabeats.

They are so talented. Enjoy!

To our Christian friends and supporters, we wish you a very Merry Christmas!

For all generations born and not yet born,

CDC Statistics on abortion - 2018
Last month, the CDC released their latest Abortion Surveillance Report. In 2018, 619,591 abortions were reported to CDC from 49 reporting areas. Since 1990, abortions have dropped 57%, more than half. The trend is down although the abortion rate increased 1% in 2018. Although the numbers of abortions among black women have declined, the report states that 208,183 black babies were killed by abortion. That amounts to 570 black babies killed by abortion every day! That is terrible. In addition, 123,918 Hispanic babies were killed by abortion in 2018, or 340 Hispanic babies killed every day. The abortion industry continues to target minorities. But our hard work and pro-life efforts are making a difference, and we need to keep it going!
RABBIS SPEAK OUT FOR LIFE!
"The Torah sanctifies life, which means we cannot take lightly the taking of the life of a fetus, who wholds the potential of decades of human life," Stambler said in a statement. Aborting a fetus, if not performed to save the mother's life, could be tantamount to murder - a view, he said, that "has been the position of the rabbis of Poland throughout history and is the position of anyone who cares about the authentic Jewish tradition."
