The Institute for Spiritual Development
Oneonta Chapter
A Metaphysical Church and School for Spiritual Development
You have to love a nation that celebrates its independence every July 4, not with a parade of guns, tanks, and soldiers who file by the White House in a show of strength and muscle, but with family picnics where kids throw Frisbees, the potato salad gets iffy, and the flies die from happiness. You may think you have overeaten, but it is patriotism.
Erma Bombeck

Church is this Sunday, July 5th at 10am!!!

Please join us for celebration, prayer, contemplation, music and fun!

Rev. Story Ducey is our homilist with the homily 'E Pluribus Unum: One in Many, Many in One' and Cleric Renee Ranke will be emcee.

Allowing Abundance
This circle will meet monthly on the fourth Tuesday of the month starting July 28th, 2020
Based on the Abraham Hicks teachings and using principles of intention we will deepen our understanding of allowing abundance into our lives. As “Like attracts Like” we need to feel what we desire emotionally before it can manifest into the reality that we prefer. We will strengthen our intentions for abundance with the support of the group energy field.

Don't forget that we are here for you during these challenging times
The ISD Adult Education Committee implemented some changes to tuition, as a way to assist people who might not be able to afford our classes and workshops given the current challenging financial climate.
We have discounted some of our standard prices and have even given you the option of registering for free! Yup, free!
  • When you click on the registration page, you will find an option to take the class at suggested prices (quoted) and there will also be an option to register for free
  • We also will be offering a 'Donate' button on the event landing page so that you can 'pay what you can' or donate the tuition for someone less fortunate.....
  • If there is a course that you have already taken, but you wish to attend again, we are offering you the option to 'review' for half price
Check out our July 2020 events calendar on ISDOneonta.org for more upcoming events and remember to like and follow us on Facebook to see our events posted there.

The New Colossus

Not like the brazen giant of Greek fame,
With conquering limbs astride from land to land;
Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand
A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame
Is the imprisoned lightning, and her name
Mother of Exiles. From her beacon-hand
Glows world-wide welcome; her mild eyes command
The air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame.
“Keep, ancient lands, your storied pomp!” cries she
With silent lips. “Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!”
