While one of our eyes is on our annual fundraiser that is planned for next week, we also deeply experience the anguish and pain in our communities of color that was brought in full focus last week. We stand in solidarity with all people of color as they demand the dismantling of a system of oppression that has hurt them and their families for generations.
We pledge to continue our work in naming, challenging and actively working to reduce pervasive racial inequalities that affect those we serve, our staff and our communities.
Our vision for children and families to reach their educational and mental health goals is only achievable if we achieve it for all children and especially for children of color.
