The Shrimp Connection is asking you to place your orders early again for the upcoming weekend, which happens to be Easter, and unfortunately for many/most of us, no church services except virtual church service, which means no shaking of hands or hugs. This necessity is not to my liking because I don’t get a kick from virtual hugs or imaginary handshakes, but I am appreciative of my church attempting to keep me on the correct road.
It sure was a good thing to have our scallops back as well as cod for this weekend. We plan to have more of both as well as a boatload of halibut for Easter weekend.

There is zero fresh shrimp being caught on the east coast until roe-shrimp begin in Georgia at any time. We will be offering the (PF) previously frozen NC shrimp we always have when fresh shrimp are unavailable.
I have added a
preliminary
seafood menu that is
subject
to change but will give you ideas of what we're hoping to have. I will be sending a
Trip Alert
on Tuesday as well as a
Shrimpnote
on Thursday. The
Shrimpnote
will have have the definitive menu with exact prices, however we can't know in advance of our secondary supplier's issues with their short-staff. Our primary dealer doesn't know what to expect on pricing, but we are honest brokers and will only use our standard markups on Thursday. There were only a few prices we had to raise.
