Dr. Wei F. Chen, MD, FACS, is a distinguished surgeon at the Cleveland Clinic in the U.S., renowned for his expertise in reconstructive microsurgery and supermicrosurgery. As a pioneer in lymphedema surgery, he has developed innovative techniques now adopted globally at leading medical centers. His groundbreaking research has linked Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s to "lymphedema of the brain," offering new hope to patients with previously intractable conditions.

 

Dr. Kristiana Gordon, MBBS, FRCP, CLT, MD(Res), FHEA, is a Consultant in Dermatology and Lymphovascular Medicine. She is a Foeldi-certified lymphoedema therapist and the Clinical Lead of the Lymphoedema Service at St George’s Hospital in London, U.K. where her team cares for thousands of patients with lymphoedema and lipoedema. She has completed her doctorate in the genetics of primary lymphoedema and imaging of the lymphatic system. Dr Gordon continues to pursue her research interests in the rapidly evolving fields of lymphovascular medicine and lipoedema.

Dr. Stanley G. Rockson, MD is the Allan and Tina Neill Professor of Lymphatic Research and Medicine at Stanford University School of Medicine in the U.S. He has been involved in numerous clinical trials researching various aspects of lymphatic disease, vascular biology and cardiovascular medicine. His basic research involves the investigation of disease pathogenesis and identification of biomarkers of lymphatic diseases, as well as research into molecular and pharmacologic therapeutics.

NEW ABSTRACT SUBMISSION DEADLINE


The Scientific Committee of the 12th International Lymphoedema Framework Conference invites abstract submissions for presentation at their 2025 Conference to be held October 23 - 25, 2025 in Niagara Falls, ON, Canada. The Scientific Committee is Co-Chaired by Dr. David Keast (Canada) and Jane M. Armer, RN, PhD, FAAN (USA).


The ILF provides a supportive conference environment for graduate students, lymphedema clinicians, and researchers. We encourage both new and experienced presenters to submit an abstract that showcases work being done in lymphedema research or clinical practice. Submissions are not limited to research-based abstracts. If you have a special interest in a relevant topic or have a special case study, we encourage you to submit and share your work with your colleagues.

Professional Full 3-Day Registration (Early Bird): $695

Professional Single Day Registration (Early Bird): $325


Patient Full 2-Day Registration (Early Bird): $325


The professional registration fee is for the full, 3-day event (Oct 23-25). A single day rate is also offered for delegates wishing to attend any one conference day.


A special, 2-day Patient Event will take place on Friday, October 24 and Saturday, October 25. Our Scientific Committee is currently developing program content specifically for both lymphedema and lipedema patients.
