Tasleema Hiyaat, Queens ’23/QCC ’21, graduated with honors while working as a student director for NYPIRG. A member of six clubs including the Muslim Student Association and Yearbook, she made a home for herself at Queensborough and discovered a passion for touching other lives in a positive way. Wherever she goes moving forward, she plans to break down barriers and use her voice to spur social change.
