Today's Message on March 15, 2026
This parable comes from Isaiah 6:9 & 10 " You will keep on hearing, but will not understand, and you will keep on seeing but will not perceive, for the heart of the people has become dull, and with their ears they do not hear and their eyes are closed. Lest they should hear with their ears and see with their eyes and with their heart understand and return and I will heal them. "
Christ is using Isaiah's Writings to clarify the fact that, at that time, many have hardened hearts which causes many not to see or hear the word of God. This seems so much like today. There are so many, especially in on the social media platforms, that claim they love the Lord, yet point out the flaws of their opponent constantly. It is difficult to understand the concept of Loving Thy Neighbor OR Love thy enemy. In addition, we have American leaders bragging over the power and death and destruction regarding our military in the Iranian Conflict. All of those leaders will answer to the death of our military personal and the civilian casualties on both sides. My friends we are in difficult times and we need the church to help lead the way. As you grow in the power of the Holy Spirit grow in understanding what it means to Love Thy Enemy and Love Thy Neighbor. We should never brag, as a nation, that we are the most powerful nation militarily when we are about the world in these conflicts. Pride always goeth before the fall and we must sow seeds of construction and not destruction. For as a nation soweth so shall it reap. Christ speaks very clearly of the Law of Cause and Effect. Remember this before you speak and act. Try to think of love, of kindnesses in dealing with your enemies. Now is the time to turn the other cheek. Be blessed as you continue your salvation during this Lenten Season.
