Our exhibit hall will offer vendors limitless opportunities to interact with approximately 600 educators, invited speakers, authors, students, and other vendors. The exhibit area is spacious and centrally located within the conference itself.

Longtime CCIRA supporter Dr. Krista Griffin, Professor of Literacy Education at MSU Denver, has inspired countless future teachers by bringing her students to the CCIRA Conference to learn from its incredible speakers. With over 30 years of experience teaching in Colorado—from preschool to university—Dr. Griffin is passionate about making literacy instruction joyful and meaningful.
This year, she’s conducting research on how teachers adapt state-mandated curriculum to make learning more engaging for students and more enjoyable to teach. Read her description below and consider participating in her study!
-
K–5 Teachers: Share how you find joy in teaching literacy by participating in the study “Motivation, Engagement, & Joy in the Scripted Curriculum Era.”
- Calling all K-6 elementary teachers using a required literacy curriculum
- Do you use a required literacy curriculum and have found ways to make it motivating and engaging? Share your experiences with us in our anonymous 10‑15 minute survey. The purpose of this research is to explore how elementary teachers motivate and engage students and find joy in their own teaching while using required, state approved literacy curricula. While there are no direct benefits to you, reflecting on your own practices may offer personal insights, and the study’s findings may benefit fellow educators. There is minimal risk to taking part in this research. An optional follow up interview, lasting 30-45 minutes, is something you may also consent to, conducted via phone or video call. Tag a teacher friend who’d love to contribute.
