Dear Friends of the Women & Family Life Center,

Happy New Year! I hope this fresh start to 2025 brings you joy, hope, and plenty of exciting possibilities. At Women & Family Life Center, we’re feeling inspired as we continue our mission to support and empower women and all families during challenging life transitions.

This year, we’re thrilled to kick things off with one of our most beloved traditions—the EmpowHer Gala, happening on March 13. It’s more than just a fundraiser; it’s a night to celebrate the incredible strength and resilience of the people we serve and to rally together in making a difference in our community while having fun!

We’d love for you to be part of this special event in whatever way feels meaningful to you:

Become a Sponsor: Sponsoring the EmpowHer Gala not only helps us keep our programs free for those who need them most, but it’s also a great way to showcase your business and show your support for our shared vision.
Donate to the Auction: We’re looking for unique experiences, trips, gift cards, or items that will make our live and silent auctions truly special. Every contribution brings us closer to our goal!
Get a ticket or a table: Early bird tickets are on sale until January 31. One ticket is $100, a table of 8 is $700. On February 1, tickets will be $135, or a table of 8 is $945. Lets pack the place.

Join us at Stony Creek to kick off 2025 with staff, friends and family of Women & Family Life Center for a happy hour fundraiser! A portion of the proceeds from the night will be donated to the Center.

The Shoreline Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Task force (SDVSATF) is a collaborative effort among providers on the shoreline to promote advocacy & awareness while coordinating resources and aid in the prevention of domestic violence and sexual assault. The SDVSATF will be having their next meeting Thursday, January 16 @ 9:00 AM at the W&FLC Carriage house at 96 Fair Street, Guilford. A Zoom link will also be available.

If you work within an informed non-profit agency, municipal office, or are a private practitioner from the area and are interested in participating, please reach out to Emma, our Referral Navigator, at edufresne@womenandfamilylife.org.

On February 6th, Panera Bread in the Guilford Commons will be hosting a fundraiser for Women & Family Life Center! You can dine in person from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM and show this flyer and 25% of your purchase will be donated to the Center. You can also order online with the code FUND4U all day on February 6th to participate!

Ready to empower yourself through divorce? Join us for a virtual and comprehensive divorce workshop where you'll gain the tools to navigate this journey with confidence. If you are ready to start your divorce journey, we've got you covered. Thea Bourke Martin, an expert in divorce and family law explains the divorce process and options to consider. Registration is required. To access all services at the Women & Family Life Center, participants must complete an intake process with a Referral Navigator.
