STR: U.S. Hotel Occupancy Update
Week | 17-23 April 2022
As we move through April, U.S. hotel performance continues to progress.

For the week 17-23 April 2022, hotel performance across the nation increases over the previous week.

🔹 The occupancy rate was recorded at 65.8%, a -4.2% decrease over the comparable week in 2019

🔹 The average daily rate (ADR) experienced a +15.4% increase over 2019 and is now sitting at $148.35
🔹 The revenue per available room (RevPAR) was recorded at $97.66, up +10.5% from 2019.

Among the Top 25 markets;

Tampa exhibited the largest increase over 2019 in two of the three key performance metrics.

➜ Occupancy - +3.4% to 78.1%
ADR - +38.5% to $203.40
