Author Visits JFB
J.F Burns Elementary School 3rd graders had a special visit from Author Bill Schroeder this week.

Schroeder, who wrote Smallmouth Sonny of Bass Island Bar read his story to the students and gave them the opportunity to ask questions and observe some of the animals that live in the Little Miami River.

Shannon Pennington of Mother Nature's Classroom brought some animals for students to learn about and Mark Bersani of Loveland Canoe and Kayak demonstrated how to paddle a kayak and properly fit a life vest.

It was a beautiful, sunny day to learn more about the Little Miami River and its surroundings.
