Dana is pursuing a degree in Accounting and a CPA license and will begin as a Tax Consulting Intern at Deloitte in June 2026. She currently works as a Student Recruitment Representative at the Lodewick Visitors Center, where she leads personalized tours for school groups and families. In addition, she is a Spin and Yoga Instructor at the Student Recreation Center, designing interactive and safe fitness classes for students.

This past summer, Dana served as Director of Strategic Fundraising for HuskyTHON Miracle Network Dance Marathon, where she managed financial data for thousands of participants and millions in donations while creating innovative fundraising strategies. She developed individualized spreadsheets for each participating team to track member fundraising and compare results to the prior year, enabling progress monitoring and engagement.

She is eager to continue advancing her skills in analytics, data management, and Microsoft Excel while continuing her role with HuskyTHON throughout the year.

Dana encourages fellow business students to embrace diverse experiences—whether in leadership, technical skills, or community involvement—as these opportunities build both expertise and meaningful connections that propel professional growth.

This year’s challenge focuses on corporate decarbonization within the broader context of a fair and just climate transition. Students will work together as action-oriented problem-solvers to apply their business skills to one of the world’s greatest challenges.

Business Communication Lab

Need help putting together a pitch deck for a class or editing a report? Don't understand your assignment guidelines, or aren't sure how to get started on a project? Schedule a 20-minute virtual meeting with the Business Communication Lab.

The material you would like to review with us must be assigned by a current course in the School of Business. Upon registering for your appointment, you will be requested to provide the assignment guideline sheet and other necessary documents for the Lab staff to fully understand the scope of the task or project.

UConn Q and W Centers

The UConn Q and W Centers are open to assist students with a range of Quantitative courses (including math, chemistry, physics, and statistics) and Writing courses. The centers are open for drop ins and provides free tutoring.

UConn Academic Achievement Center

The AAC is dedicated to helping students achieve their academic goals by offering a range of support services. These include personalized coaching, workshops on academic success strategies, and resources like supplemental instruction to assist students in managing their coursework effectively. The AAC is located in Rowe, Room 217 and is open to all students navigating their academic journey at UConn.
