Laudato Sì Week: Sr Guille on Radio Bakhita

To mark the International week for the promotion of Laudito Sì in South Sudan, Radio Bakhita, our local Catholic radio station in Juba, invited Sr Guillermina (Guille) Vasquez, ACJ to give 6 talks of 30 minute each on the subject. Solidarity at the USG Assembly in Assisi



From 21 to 24 May, the 101st Assembly of the USG (Union of Superiors General) was held in Assisi. Solidarity was delighted to participate in the event for a day, in the beautiful setting of the Umbrian city. As always, it was an opportunity to meet the Superiors General, share information material on the work of Solidarity in South Sudan and encourage the continued involvement and support of their congregations in the important mission for the people of South Sudan.

On 2 April, the Objective Structured Practical Examinations (OSPE) began for our 2d year nursing and midwifery students, who did their clinical practice at St. Daniel Comboni Hospital and the Wau Teaching Hospital. In the OSPE, every aspect of clinical skills is uniformly and objectively tested for all students when they take a practical examination in a given ward.
