A Magical Opening to an

Unforgettable Night!

A grand cinematic thank you to all the film lovers, members, partners, sponsors, and the record-setting 750+ attendees who joined us for an unforgettable opening night celebration at the historic Miami Beach Bandshell open-air amphitheater, generously sponsored for a ninth consecutive year by Haber Law!

The opening night premiere of One Life brought forth so many wonderful surprises, including the presence of Miami Beach Mayor Steven Meiner and Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava, who added an extra layer of honor. Mayor Cava bestowed upon the Festival a Proclamation, officially declaring Thursday, January 11 as "Miami Jewish Film Festival Day!" Adding to the excitement, the evening also featured the unveiling of this year's official Festival Trailer, a beautifully animated film we commissioned from the talented Israeli artist Daphna Awadish Golan!

It was an evening full of rapturous applause and joy as we united as one community in celebration of the arts. Here's to the magic that unfolds in the days ahead at the Miami Jewish Film Festival!

Festival Trailer Unveil

It's here! It's here! We're delighted to unveil the official trailer for the 2024 Miami Jewish Film Festival! This year, as part of our ongoing commitment to supporting Israel, we’re going beyond just hosting the world's largest Israeli film program with more than 30 feature film premieres. We've taken it a step further by giving back to Israeli artists. For the first time, we commissioned an Israeli filmmaker to create our Festival trailer, designed to inspire joy and hope, and serve as a bridge between Miami and Israel.

The 2024 Festival Trailer was created by award-winning Israeli filmmaker Daphna Awadish Golan, whose work we've had the privilege of premiering three times at our Festival over the last decade, including her latest animated film, Swimming with Birds, which will be unveiled on Saturday night.
