"Lord, Will I Ever Laugh Again?"
“A time to cry and a time to laugh.” (Ecclesiastes 3:4)
When I was going through a dark period, I cried out to God with one question, "God, will I ever laugh again?"
That's because laughter to me Is an indication of joy, happiness, peace, relief, and healing. I just wanted to laugh again. To me, it meant I was set free from what had me captive. To me, there is something special when I hear a hearty laugh, especially when the laughter is my own.
Over the years when I laugh, I thank God because it is His answer to the question I asked Him so long ago: "God, will I ever laugh again?"
When you hear me laugh, know that is an indication that God is working in me, through me, and for me.
