Volume 1, Issue 1
Dear Friends,

Welcome to our inaugural virtual event! We're calling it "Maestro Moments," a conversation between Artistic Director Steven Zielke and a variety of musical guests, some of whom will be familiar to mid-valley audiences.

The conversations will be streamed live on Zoom at 3 p.m. on the second Sunday of each month (dates may change to accommodate the guest's schedule). They are FREE, but you must register to participate. Click the Registration Link (in red) below to reserve your spot. The number of participants is limited.

First up, for this Sunday, October 11 at 3 p.m., is professional singer, actor, conductor, composer and Oregon State University graduate Roosevelt Andre Credit.
"Roosevelt makes an ideal first guest on our series as he is such an important part of the cultural history of Corvallis and OSU, and has led such a fascinating career in his life and work on Broadway.” says Zielke.

A native of Oakland, California, Credit attended Oregon State University, graduating with a degree in Music Education in 1990. Following that, Credit earned a Master of Music in Voice and Opera Performance, and a Master of Music in Conducting from Northwestern University.

A bass/baritone singer, Credit made his Broadway debut in 1994 when he appeared in Show Boat. In 2009, he was a featured performer at Barack Obama's Pennsylvania Inaugural Ball, and in 2012, he was cast in the role of A Fisherman in a Broadway production of Porgy and Bess. His vocals also can be heard in two songs used in the soundtrack to the movie 12 Years a Slave -- "My Lord Sunshine (Sunrise)," and "O Teach Me Lord."
