World Lymphedema Day 2023 March 6

To celebrate World Lymphedema Day, we are pleased to offer complimentary access to the digital edition of the Spring issue of Pathways magazine to the entire lymphedema community, worldwide. We hope you will pass along the link to share the information and resources in this issue, including a special edition of "Hints and Tips - Our Favourite Top Ten," and an article on advocacy and letter-writing from our Editor, Anna Kennedy, with the assistance of some of our Provincial Association partners.

Spring Pathways Issue Available Now

Print issues are in the mail; read the digital edition online today.

In this issue, hear from opinion expert Lesli Bell with information on chest wall and breast edema, which can be difficult to diagnose and treat; and read an interesting and informative point-and-counterpoint view on the popular but sometimes controversial ketogenic diet for lymphedema.

You will also discover what our cover model, Isa-Bella Leclair, has been up to since we last featured her in Pathways, six years ago. We think you will be as impressed and inspired as we are by her passion to make a difference, the great work she's doing, and how she has learned to live well with lymphedema.

Don't forget to check out the Advocacy and letter-writing article, our special edition of "Hints & Tips," Event Listings, and "Did you know?" research roundup.

They did it! Way to go, Lymphedema Advocacy Group Friends!

The United States Congress passed the Lymphedema Treatment Act on December 23, 2022, with new insurance coverage set to take effect on January 1, 2024. We wish to congratulate Heather Ferguson and the passionate team of volunteers who have worked diligently alongside her over the past 12 years to achieve this monumental milestone for lymphedema coverage in the U.S.

We are officially inspired!
