Membership Renewals - please DO NOT start a new application when attempting to update your membership renewal. This applies to both youth and adults.
By doing so, a new BSA ID number will be created. In addition, the “new application” will have to be approved by the Unit Leader (youth) or the COR (adults).

District Award of Merit Nomination
The District Award of Merit is the highest award that a District can bestow upon an adult Scouter. The Mercer Area District will be presenting these awards at our District Dinner on Wednesday, April 30, 2025.
We are now seeking nominations for this year’s awards. A nominee must meet the following criteria:
· The nominee must be a registered Scouter who has provided noteworthy service above and beyond that of their volunteer position to youth in Scouting, outside Scouting, or both.
· The nominee’s attitude towards and cooperation with the district and/or council is to be taken into consideration when making a nomination.
· The nominee must not have previously received the District Award of Merit.
· Further details on the criteria for nomination can be found on the nomination form.
If you would like to nominate a Scouter who has performed exemplary service – above and beyond the call of duty – on behalf of youth within the Mercer Area District, please use the official nomination form that can be found here

Cub Scout Overnight Camping at Ockanickon
Cubs of the Roundtable is an outdoor themed overnight camping trip for cub packs. The theme is based off of King Arthur and the knights of the roundtable. Cub Scouts are encouraged to do their best in fun activities which will be based on medieval era activities. This is a rain or shine event but severe weather could cause cancellation.

Prepared for Life Career Expo Returns Saturday, May 31st!
The district's annual Prepared for Life: Career Readiness event returns for another year on Saturday May 31st. In prior years, this event has been open to Eagle Scouts, but this year ALL HIGH SCHOOL AGED Scouts are invited to register and attend. There will be workshops, breakout sessions for various career tracks, and opportunities to network with professionals and mentors from a variety of industries. Don't wait; register today!

Cub Scout Adventure Camp is a 2-night overnight camp experience at Ockanickon Scout Reservation.
The 2025 Session will occur July 27 – July 29, 2025
The Cub Adventure Camp will be run by the Ockanickon Summer Staff… and they are excited to bring their enthusiasm to Cub Scouting. This is absolutely going to be a great time for Cubs Scout as they interact with the seventy plus staff that make scouting magic happen year after year.
Activities will include: Swimming, fishing, boating, archery, sling shots, BB guns, Gaga ball, climbing tower, nature hike and more.
Cub Scouts will camp in tents provided by the camp and all meals will be served in the camp dining hall.
| | | The 2025 Cub Scout Day Camp “Passport to Adventure” will be here before you know it! Cub Scout Day Camp is a fun-filled week of adventure for Cub Scouts. Make new friends while participating in archery, fishing, STEM, sports, Scout skills, crafts, nature, and more! Scouts are placed in dens by age and grade, and stay in those dens all week. Age appropriate activities are offered to challenge the campers and allow them to learn new skills or expand existing skills. Campers will rotate through a variety of stations each day. There are 4 different weeks of day camp to choose from. Consider volunteering with your child to join in the fun. Camp is where memories are made to last a lifetime! | | | Roundtable Meeting Updates | | At March's Roundtable meeting, Troop 5700 Eagle Scout Cash Colleton gave a presentation of the initiative he carried out for his Messenger of Peace - Champion award. Cash led his fellow Scouts in assembling warm weather bags and toiletry kits, then facilitated their distribution at First Presbyterian Church of Mt. Holly's community luncheon.
