IDRPP Researcher Works at the Intersection of Mental Health & Disability

In addition to working with the Institute, Dr. Ty Aller will have a role in Utah State University’s Department of Human Development and Family Studies. His work falls on the intersection of disability and mental health.


“If you actually look at these two worlds, where you have disability rights advocacy and mental health advocacy, they often end up at the same disadvantage,” Aller said. Both often come with stigma attached.
