SAMHSA Announces $40 Million in Funding Opportunities to Prevent Addiction, and Address Child Trauma, Suicide, Mental Illness


The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration announced $40 million in funding opportunities across eight grant programs focused on addiction prevention, child trauma, suicide prevention, mental illness, recovery support and behavioral health workforce needs. The grants include support for community safety partnerships, youth substance use prevention, SBIRT programs, child trauma resources, adult suicide prevention, eating disorder training, peer-run mental health organizations and SUD training for future providers.
