Hello Sergio,

The summer season in Bolivia runs from December to March and it means...rain and beautiful colors to the flooded Uyuni Salt Flats! This is our favorite destination and our most popular as well. Now is the time to start booking space as hotels fill up fast!

Summer brings a lot of green to the Altiplano and small dry washes turn into beautiful streams, flooding once beige and brown landscapes with dozens of shades of green and blue. White puffy cotton-ball clouds share the stage with dark, broody storm clouds...all bringing water. That water drains to the lowest elevation at the salt flats...and makes the Altiplano come to life.
