The Giving House is Open!
On December 2nd, our second transitional house welcomed our first family. After several months of renovations, volunteers were able to get the house ready and beautiful. A big FPCC thank you goes out to Tom Hunter, Mark Riggans, and Jim Ell for their work replacing the kitchen flooring. Volunteers worked diligently painting, cleaning and making sure the house was ready for our first family.

The family moved in and couldn't believe how nice the house was decorated. What a joy it was to listen to the children run through the house as they explored the rooms and claimed stake to their beds! Elves from Our Giving Garden put up a Christmas tree and hosted an open house that day.

We are so grateful to Our Giving Garden, Vinings Lake Church, and all the volunteers who donated household items and their time to make this a reality.
Feeling Thankful 💛!
We have new beds! FPCC Grant Chair Mark Riggans submitted a grant application to the Ramlose Foundation to get the FPCC rotational shelter new beds and our project was funded! We bought 12 new beds with softer mattresses for the families and volunteers. Initial reports are everyone is having a better night of sleep!

St. Catherine's Episcopal Church, one of our hosting congregations, continues to be a blessing to our families. For the 4th year, members of St. Catherine's collected diapers and assembled items for activity bags for the children who come into our network. Bags are available throughout the year to give to our kids. Many thanks to Molly Banko and her son Spencer (pictured) for coordinating and delivering.
