Black Men in White Coats
Documentary and Panel Discussion
SOM and CMSRU are hosting a virtual (at your own pace) documentary screening of Black Men in White Coats followed by a panel discussion on Saturday, February 27.

Internships & Opportunities
New Jersey Big Data Alliance Opportunity
Undergraduate students studying data science, computer science, or related majors are invited to apply to the Rutgers MBS-NJBDA Student Externship Program for Spring 2021. Externships are opportunities for students to gain real-world experience in their field. Students are eligible for a $2,000 fellowship. Application deadline: Friday, January 29.

University of North Carolina - Science Enrichment Preparation Program
Held each summer on the UNC Chapel Hill campus, the S.E.P. Program is an eight-week, honors-level academic enrichment program that targets first-generation, underrepresented minority, rural, and/or socioeconomically disadvantaged undergraduate students (rising sophomores and juniors) who seek admission into Medical School or Dental School. The 2021 program is being held virtually. Application deadline in February 24.

American Museum of Natural History REU Biology Program
This Research Experience for Undergraduates Program in Systematics and Evolutionary Biology brings approximately ten students to the American Museum of Natural History in New York City each summer for a ten-week experience working with our curators, faculty, and post-doctoral fellows. Application deadline is January 31.

RowanNEXT for Graduate Students
RowanNEXT launches on January 20 and will be available in Canvas to all graduate students. This community will provide curated graduate services, resources, networking and connections for graduate students.  There is no cost to students and, while access is granted automatically, participation is optional.
