Pass/No Credit Option extended
|
|
The University has extended the option for students to choose Pass/No Credit after final grades have posted for the Fall 2020 semester, giving students until January 25, 2021 to finalize their grades. This extension delays the process of awarding Fall 2020 degrees through the end of February, but the conferral date will still remain December 30, 2020.
|

Register now for Spring 2021 to get the classes you want! Remember that sections of interest can fill up and under enrolled sections may be subject to cancellation.

Physics and Engineering Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU)
|
Miami University is offering an NSF funded REU during the summer of 2021. The REU will take place during a ten-week period and will support a cohort of up to ten students. Students work in small teams in collaboration with a physics or engineering faculty mentor.

|
|
National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) Summer Research Internship
|
The NIDA Summer Research Internship Program supports undergraduate students with a focus on increasing underrepresented scholars interested in substance use and addiction research. Students are introduced to the field of substance use and addiction research by participating in research internships with NIDA funded scientists at universities across the United States. Students work with leading scientists for eight weeks during the summer and receive a stipend. To apply and view program information, see the NIDA Summer Research Internship Program website. Applications will be accepted until February 12.

Student Airborne Research Program (SARP)2021
|
The Student Airborne Research Program (SARP) is an eight-week summer internship program for rising senior undergraduate students to acquire hands-on research experience in all aspects of a scientific campaign using one or more NASA Airborne Science Program flying science laboratories. Research areas include atmospheric chemistry, air quality, forest ecology, and ocean biology.

International Energy & Sustainability Conference 2021

March 18-19, 2021
Farmingdale State College's Renewable Energy & Sustainability Center is hosting the 9th annual International Energy & Sustainability Conference. This year’s conference will provide attendees with the most cutting- edge developments in renewable energy from leaders in their respective fields. Registration to attend is free. Students are invited to contribute a virtual poster display, please submit an abstract by February 15, 2021.

PSEG Paid Summer Internships
|
The PSEG Green Teams Program is a unique paid internship opportunity for undergraduate students running from June 1 – August 6. Students are given a chance to work as part of a transdisciplinary Green Team addressing sustainability problems posed by a corporation, local business, or government agency. All majors are desired, and many skills are needed. Applications due by January 21.

Discounted Princeton Review Courses
|
We are excited to be able to offer Rowan students the opportunity to take The Princeton Review (TPR) test prep courses at a discount of 50% through a new collaboration between Rowan University and TPR. The 2020-2021 discount is available for the following Princeton Review test prep courses: MCAT, LSAT, GRE, GMAT, and DAT.
