Hear from Black Alumni
Join us December 6 for a panel discussion hosted by the Rowan University Black Alumni Network—the 3rd in a series of virtual events surrounding topics that impact the Black Rowan community. Alumni panelists will take a look back at Glassboro in the nineties and how influential the transformative decade was for the institution. Panelists will also reflect on their student experiences and share lessons.

RA Positions
Residential Learning & University Housing Office is recruiting undergraduate candidates for Resident Assistant positions for the 2021-2022 academic year. RAs are peer leaders trained to help students adjust to the university environment and promote the development of a safe, supportive and inclusive residential community. Next information sessions on December 1 and December 4. Application deadline is January 19, 2021 by 5 p.m.

Teaching Fellowship
Have you considered becoming a teacher? This prestigious Fellowship offers a $32,000 stipend toward completion of a yearlong M.Ed. at Duquesne University, West Chester University, or the University of Pennsylvania. Fellows prepare through a full-year clinical experience in a local high-need school, coupled with rigorous coursework. Then they teach for three years in a high-need middle or high school, with mentoring throughout the entire process.

Undergraduate Scholarships
The Student Government Association is awarding $35,000 in scholarships to Rowan undergraduate students in the amounts of $1000 (20), $2500 (4), and $5000 (1). The application is open now and will close on November 29. Application available at https://bit.ly/SGAScholarshipFall2020.

PSE&G Internships for Undergrads
Interested in sustainability studies? The PSE&G Institute for Sustainable Studies is offering a paid internship to undergraduate students to assist corporations, businesses, and government agencies with sustainability challenges. All majors welcome to apply.

Naval Horizons Challenge
The Naval Horizons challenge is designed to introduce STEM college students to cutting-edge science and technology topics that impact the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps. Students are invited to watch a video series, select a topic and share their ideas on the current state-of-the-art and a futurist vision of the Navy and/or Marine Corps in the year 2040. Submissions will be evaluated on a rolling basis and the first 3,000 submissions to meet the evaluation criteria will be awarded a $200 stipend.
