End of Semester Conversation

This webinar will give parents and students the opportunity to hear how the semester has gone, what to anticipate for the spring 2021 semester return, how parents and family members may assist their students as it relates to our THRIVE initiative, along with engaging in a question-and-answer period.

Internships & Opportunities
Undergraduate Scholarship Program
The National Institutes of Health (NIH) Undergraduate Scholarship Program (UGSP) offers competitive scholarships to students from disadvantaged backgrounds who are committed to careers in biomedical, behavioral, and social science health-related research. The program offers:
  • Scholarship support
  • Paid research training at the NIH during the summer
  • Paid employment and training at the NIH after graduation

Application opens on January 4. Deadline to apply is March 17.

Summer 2021 Internship Program in Biomedical Research
Open to undergraduate and graduate-level students. Summer programs at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) provide an opportunity to spend a summer working at the NIH side-by-side with some of the leading scientists in the world, in an environment devoted exclusively to biomedical research. At the NIH "biomedical research" includes everything from behavioral and social sciences, through biology and chemistry, to physics, mathematical modeling, computational biology, and biostatistics. 

RA Positions
Residential Learning & University Housing Office is recruiting undergraduate candidates for Resident Assistant positions for the 2021-2022 academic year. RAs are peer leaders trained to help students adjust to the university environment and promote the development of a safe, supportive and inclusive residential community. Next information sessions on December 1 and December 4. Application deadline is January 19, 2021 by 5 p.m.
