Dr. McCurdy is a rare chemist researcher. The goal of his seminar is to provide insight into cultivating skills & experiences for a successful career in medicinal chemistry, pharmaceutical research, and pharmacy practice. Connect with your fellow students, learn more about campus resources, and attend programming on self-care and wellness, students’ research, preparing theses and dissertations, and more.

Internships & Opportunities
SGA Scholarships for Spring 2021!
SGA will be awarding $35,000 in scholarships this semester in the amounts of $1000 (20), $2500 (4), and $5000 (1). The application is now open and will close on March 14th.

Nerd Street Gamers Paid Internships
This internship program will run from late May to mid August. This unique opportunity will help students gain hands-on experience and get an inside look into an esports organization within a rapidly growing industry. The specific internships have been posted on this link.

WW Teaching Fellowship in STEM Fields
The WW Pennsylvania Teaching Fellowship is looking for talented individuals with backgrounds in the STEM fields to teach in high-need Pennsylvania secondary schools in Philadelphia and Pittsburgh. The fellowship includes admission to a master's degree program at one of three partner universities, teacher certification in science or mathematics education, and a $32,000 stipend during their first year while completing the master’s degree.

APS/IBM Research Internship
The American Physical Society and IBM co-sponsor two undergraduate research internship programs: the APS/IBM Research Internship for Undergraduate Women, and the APS/IBM Research Internships for Underrepresented Minority Students. The goal of these internships is to encourage women and underrepresented minorities to pursue graduate studies in science and engineering. Learn more:

RowanNEXT for Graduate Students
RowanNEXT is available in Canvas to all graduate students. This community will provide curated graduate services, resources, networking and connections for graduate students.  There is no cost to students and, while access is granted automatically, participation is optional.
