Late Start Spring Courses
|
|
Late start course sections offer an opportunity to add additional credits to your spring 2021 semester schedule. There are a variety of courses available with a March 16 start date. Full-time tuition covers a total of 12-17 credits so be sure to check with your academic advisor if adding a late start course is appropriate for you.
Self-registration is now available by logging into your Banner account. To search options, use Section Tally. Select “Part of Term” and then Module 4 Online March 16 – May 10th.

If you currently receive the NJ State Tuition Aid Grant (TAG), the deadline to renew the FAFSA is April 15, 2021. If your FAFSA application is not processed and received by the deadline, you will not be eligible for the TAG award for the 2021-2022 academic year. It can take 3-5 business days to process your FAFSA once submitted, so please file ASAP.
The FAFSA for 21/22 uses your family tax information from 2019 so you do not need to wait to file your taxes to submit your FAFSA application.

2021-2022 Housing Application

The application for 2021-2022 campus housing is now available. The deadline for all current students to apply in order to participate in the room selection process is March 8, 2021.

CSM Summer Undergraduate Research Program (SURP)Information Session
|
Join us for an information session to learn more about SURP!
Thursday, March 4
4-5 p.m. via Zoom
SURP is designed for undergraduate students to gain valuable, hands-on research experience and develop critical thinking, analytical, and communication skills. Research experiences will be a mix of on campus and virtual programming depending on the project and the status of COVID restrictions this summer. Depending on the research project, programs are either 5 or 10 weeks. Stipends for students are nominally $2,000 for 5 weeks and $4,000 for 10 weeks.
We encourage undergraduate students of all experience and academic levels to participate. Start by completing this brief form indicating your interests: SURP Form. The deadline to complete the form is March 19.

Health, & Fitness Internship and Career Fair

Rowan University's student chapter of the National Wellness Institute invites you to participate in our annual Health, Wellness & Fitness Internship and Career Fair. This event is open to all students of all levels who are interested in internships, volunteer opportunities, and paid jobs. Graduating seniors are particularly encouraged to attend.

Office of Graduate Research Services is offering a workshop for students whose graduate programs require them to produce a thesis or dissertation. The workshop will explain the general thesis and dissertation process at Rowan University, and students will benefit greatly from understanding these requirements even before their thesis or dissertation work begins.

NASA Internships are competitive awards that provide unique NASA-related research and operational experiences. Interns integrate with career professionals emphasizing mentor-directed, degree-related tasks, while contributing to the operation of a NASA facility or the advancement of NASA's missions. The deadline to apply is March 5.

Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology (MIR)Summer Research
|
The Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology (MIR) Summer Research Program offers undergraduate and medical students an excellent introduction to current radiological sciences research. This is a 10-week program based on approximately 40 hours per week; you may start any time between May 24 and June 1.
Students receive $7,000 for a 10-week summer research period.

Lockheed Martin STEM Scholarship
|
Lockheed Martin's STEM Scholarship awards $10,000 to 200 undergraduates at a 4-year college or university. Students studying computer science, physics, or mathematics are eligible to apply. *Note, website does not specifically list math majors can apply, but Lockheed has confirmed math majors are eligible. Apply here. Deadline to apply is April 1.
