As part of national public health week in April, the Rowan Public Health Club will welcome Commander Patrick Harper from the U.S. Public Health Service as a guest speaker. Dr. Harper will discuss opportunities, new programs for graduates at every stage as well as his path in the public health service.

Assistant Professor
Department of Psychology

Jonathan Mathias Lassiter, Ph.D. is a polymath who utilizes psychology, writing, and dance to help others heal and thrive. His roles include licensed clinical psychologist, professor, author, public speaker, and choreographer. As a public intellectual, Dr. Lassiter has been featured on television, radio, podcasts, and print such as PBS and Sirius XM.

Currently, Dr. Lassiter is Assistant Professor of Psychology at Rowan University, Founder and Chief Psychology Officer at Lassiter Health Initiatives, co-host of Fly on the Wall on YouTube, and Artistic Associate at The Black Acting Methods Studio.

Honors Fall 2021 Application
The Honors College Fall 2021 application is now open for current Rowan undergraduate students. All academically-motivated and community-minded are encouraged to apply by the April 9 deadline. A link to the application and recommendation form can be found on the Honors website.

Intern at Healthy Campus Initiatives
Healthy Campus Initiatives is now accepting applications for Fall 2021 internships, field experience, and volunteer placements for students! This internship expects a time commitment of about 6 hours per week. All majors are encouraged to apply! Applications will close on April 2 at 4 p.m.

Help the Rowan Community and Boost your Resume
Apply for SGA’s Series 2 elections by April 2 at 3 p.m. on Proflink. SGA Executive Board members have the opportunity to work closely with campus administration and receive tuition reimbursement.

SGA Senators serve their specific Rowan community by acting as their voice. By attending Senate and SGA committee meetings, SGA senators are able to enact change on campus.

Student Job Openings this Summer
Rowan's Residential Learning & University Housing Office is currently looking for students to fill anticipated summer Housing Prep Assistant positions! This position works throughout the summer months to assist in closing our residential buildings after the Spring semester, and prepare them for Fall Move-in and Opening.
