Greetings!

Since we started the Nemours Recreational Champions league, it is more exciting each year when we begin the season again. Now that we have resumed Recreational Operations, I am happy to see the high level of engagement and excitement. I’m proud to lead our program here in Lake Nona and the surrounding areas with the absolute best experience for the children. From coaches to equipment, from uniforms to game day experiences, we pride ourselves with providing the very best. Our mission is for each child to come to soccer excited, have fun while learning the game, and leave practice eager to return for their next session.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Pinktober is around the corner and we will turn the orange to pink for the month! All kids will receive 1 pink shirt! The rest of the shirts will be sold at Austin Tindall and at the Lake Nona Performance Club for the cause.

This is a special time for us to educate and raise money for Stage 4 Breast Cancer. We will also be giving back local (stay tuned here).

We have sponsor space for the shirt! There will be over 2000 shirts in circulation. If you choose to sponsor, your donation is a tax-deductible donation. Sponsorship space will close next week.

Get to know your

Nona Family...

Our son Fidel is an 11 y/o kid passionate about soccer. Since he began to walk he was chasing the ball! In 2017 he arrived to the United States from Venezuela and soccer had to be on hold for different reasons. He waited for 3 years, when he finally joined Nona Soccer Academy in August 2020. He was selected to play in the 2010 Gray Team with Coach Carlos. He was chosen by his teammates to be the team captain! In the middle of the season Coach Carlos decided that Fidel needed to practice at a little more competitive level and then after agreed he earned a spot to practice once a week with the 2010 Orange Team. This gave him the experience one day a week at the next level for 2010. For the 2021 season tryouts in May, Fidel was selected to be part of the 2010 Orange Team with Coach Joao.

The first tournaments of the season were underway Labor Day Weekend. It was great to have the Nona Family together again at the South Orlando Labor Day Tournament & out at a Disney Wide World of Sports.
