Worship
Sundays, 10:00am in the Sanctuary and On Zoom
Through ritual, story, and music in worship, we explore together themes that inform our faith, challenge us to go deeper, and call us to action with love at the center. We hope you find care, support, love, and community here. Each service is a little different. The one thing that never changes: it is good to be together.

November 1st
Daylight Saving Time ends. Remember to set your clocks back one hour before you go to bed Saturday evening.
K-9th Grade Classes Meet
Families, please let us know if your child or youth will miss class so teachers can adjust plans as needed. If your child is attending worship instead of going to class, teachers appreciate knowing so they are not waiting for them to begin class.
K-1st grade Our Whole Lives class meets with Kate Colson and Bryan Cherry for the class about families. This session celebrates family life in all its diversity. Children gain awareness and appreciation of family configurations both similar to and different from their own. The Homelinks provide material for conversations to continue at home: 9/20 Orientation; 9/27 Our Wonderful Bodies; 10/4 Bodies & Gender; 10/18 Body Boundaries.
2nd-4th grade Soul Matters class meets with Irene Cox and Norm Handelman. This month, we are exploring the theme of Healing and the many ways we can help ourselves, one another, and our world heal. This week, the class is looking at the hurt that arises from cruelty and indifference and how we can heal that through acts of kindness.
5th-6th grade Soul Matters class meets with Gary Press and Denice Tomlinson. This month, we are exploring the theme of Healing and the many ways we can help ourselves, one another, and our world heal. This week, the class is looking at the hurt that arises from seeing your life as “a glass half empty”, and how we can heal through gratitude, optimism, and laughter.
7th-9th grade Coming of Age class meets with Matthew Darnall and Amy Nathan. The class continues the unit on Belonging. This week's session is about uncovering and noticing the privileges that we each have and then taking it a step further by exploring how we can use those privileges to do the work of the greater good.
Classes and activities end at 11:15am. Children through 3rd grade must be picked up by their adult(s). Older children and youth will be dismissed to find their adult(s).
After RE & Worship

November 8th
K-6th & 10th-12th Spiritual Practice, 7th-9th Grade Class Meets
Spiritual Practices offer opportunities to relax, listen to our own inner voice, connect with a broader lifeforce, cultivate deeper sense of meaning, and develop practices that can sustain us through life’s moments. Rituals unite our bodies and hearts in different ways of knowing, connecting with our experiences in ways that are deeply meaningful and memorable. When we engage in rituals together, they can help us move from a collection of individuals into a connected and cohesive group, reminding us that we are not alone in the world. We will explore various age-accessible spiritual practices for grounding, deepening, and resilience.
7th-9th grade Coming of Age class meets with Alex Sehdeva and Matthew Darnall. Youth begin conversations around Becoming. Questions of becoming are the budding branches, capturing the unfolding of our potential selves. On this Sunday, the conversation will focus on navigating authenticity. How does one achieve a sense of authentic identity and unique self? What from your given communities do you want to hold on to, and what do you want to let go of? What is my unique form of becoming? How will I navigate the challenges of becoming? In other words, this section is about growth and shaping who we will become.
Classes and activities end at 11:15am. Children through 3rd grade must be picked up by their adult(s). Older children and youth will be dismissed to find their adult(s).
After RE & Worship
11:30am-12:30pm, Relationship Building in Community: An Interactive Discussion led by Partners in Covenant, Fellowship Hall

The faith250 program invites faith leaders and communities across the country to form clusters of congregations to act as sacred spaces for listening to one another, clarifying our shared civic values, and celebrating our hopes for America. November 22nd
Whole Congregation Worship: Thanksgiving/Indigenous Heritage
This Sunday, we gather for whole congregation worship. Worship is a ritual we share with all ages. Young people are a vital part of our community and the way we welcome young people directly affects the way they respond to religious community, the Divine, and one another. We offer a family area in the sanctuary where young people can be comfortable while being in community and experiencing the words, music, and rituals of our shared faith. Chairs are reserved alongside the area and we ask adults to sit near your child(ren) to help them quietly navigate the sacred space of worship. We also appreciate help tidying up the area.
