The Black Flourishing in Education Project Launch

MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 14, 2026

ONABSE is pleased to launch our Black Flourishing in Education Project!

This project aims to amplify knowledge and improve access to resources for Black education professionals and students across the province on addressing anti-Black racism, and improving our health and well-being while participating in the education system.

We will also be introducing the BFIE Project Advisory Circle, which is an integral body made up of community members and organizations who will collaborate in order to bring this project to life.

We're grateful that this project has been made possible in part by the Government of Canada.

COMING THIS FALL

What is shaping principals’ well-being at work?

Our Principal Barometer Study surveyed 816 principals, including 602 in Ontario, about their working conditions, work attitudes and health and well-being.

The findings provide insight into factors that support principals in their work and the challenges they face in increasingly demanding work environments.

This fall, we’ll release a series of reports exploring the findings. Stay tuned for more details.
