Lake City Chamber is on the Move!

The Lake City Chamber of Commerce is getting a new home! Beginning Tuesday, September 3rd, our offices will be operating out of our new building located just a block north from our current location at 122 N. Lakeshore Drive. The building, previously occupied by Guilford Mutual Insurance, offers the Chamber a new beginning while maintaining an important location in downtown Lake City. Please stop by on Wednesday, August 28th at 11:30 for a Ribbon Cutting marking our new chapter at the Chamber!

Join the local shops of Lake City, MN for a fun and whacky summertime event "Lake City On A Stick!"

The Minnesota State Fair has lots of fun things on sticks but so does Lake City! 

Lake City businesses are bringing awesome stick products to their locales on Saturday, August 31st!

Fall Fest is Just Around the Corner!

As much as we'd love summer to last forever, we absolutely adore fall as well! A big reason to look forward to the seasonal change is Fall Fest, one of Lake City's newest and most cherished events! It all kicks off with the opening of the Patton Park Fun Zone on September 22nd with food trucks, a petting zoo, local farmers sharing stories and information, a train ride, bubble dancing, and more!!!

Debbie Anthony at LCAA

Sept 8th, 1PM

Debbie Anthony was born to make music. Raised in Minnesota, trained as a voice major at North Central University in Minneapolis, she drew inspiration from sources as varied as classic arias and Karen Carpenter. But after hearing Shania Twain, she knew that country music was her destiny.

You can see her performing with Sam Medin on Sunday Sept 8th at Lake City Area Arts.

Governor's Opener Yields Massive Exposure for Lake City

We have recently received a Governor’s Fishing Opener media summary and event recap from Explore Minnesota.

All we can say is WOW!

By all accounts Lake City knocked this out of the park. All of our volunteers' and staffs' incredible work, combined with massive efforts from our state agency partners, made this event a watershed moment for Lake City, Lake City Tourism, and the Governor’s Opener event as a whole.

Master Naturalist Course

Project Get Outdoors will be hosting a Minnesota Master Naturalist course at the Lake City Public Library on Tuesdays from 10 am - 3:30 pm, October 15 - November 19. 

This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about the natural history of the Driftless Area through expert guest speakers and hands-on field trips. Get to know local conservation organizations and discover opportunities to assist with stewardship activities and projects in the area. Register here

Starting a Food Business 101

Have you been dreaming of launching your very own food truck? Maybe you've got an incredible secret sauce that you want to make and bottle or you've wondered if you have what it takes to launch a food business and have questions of taking the next step. Join Northside Food Incubator every 2nd Tuesday from 6pm–7:30pm for our FREE Starting a Food Business 101 Workshop. This workshop will be live VIA ZOOM. After you've signed up, we'll send out next steps for you to take to receive more information. This email will come to you a few days before the workshop. Mental & Chemical Health Meeting

Meet the new Youth Prevention Team at River Bluff Education Center, learn about the connection between cannabis and mental health, and hear how Pine Island Schools created a HOPE Squad to support student mental health. Grandparents Day at Eagle Center

Some of life’s best memories are made with grandparents and the National Eagle Center is inviting grandparents and their grandchildren to share a fun and memorable eagle experience during Grandparents Connection Day on Sunday, September 8.
