DECEMBER FIRST THURSDAY HOLIDAY BASH -December 12, 2019. This will be our Holiday Bash at St John's Hall. We have Larry Tanelli and Claudette doing the music, Jason Raimey, our instructor from Wilmington, teaching the Waltz and how to do a Waltz mixer. We will also have a great Cha-Cha performance. All of this in the best dance venue on the Strand along with some Merry Christmas surprises too!

Please RSVP. If you have already done so, no need to do it again.

Remember you need to make your reservations by purchasing your tickets in advance. This is the last week we can guarantee you will be able to purchase them. The band will begin advertising to their followers in their newsletter this week and we will sell out.

Free waltz lessons at Calabash in December

What a great dance class Sal has every Monday afternoon at the Brunswick Senior Resource Center in Calabash. The classes are free but the Center in Calabash is a non-profit and they appreciate your contributions so they can continue to provide quality activities such as our ballroom classes. There are collection boxes throughout the center. Lessons in December will be Waltz. The intermediate class is held at 1 pm. If you have danced some ballroom before and want to learn more, feel free to join this free class. If you are a beginner, you should come at 2 pm. for the beginner class. The center is located at 10050 Beach Drive in Calabash. The Center is closed Christmas week so there is no class on December 23rd, but there will be classes on December 30th.

Want to perform? Does anyone want the chance to practice a routine or perform at one of our First Thursday Dances? BDPS allows a dancer the opportunity to perform once per calendar quarter. Contact Charlene if you would like to sign up! Here's our upcoming performance lineup:
