President's Message

Dear RSFBPW Ladies, Esteemed Guests:

Welcome to November, and Happy Holidays 2025. I am embracing the nostalgia of the next few months and the hustle bustle of the holiday season.

I'm refining the end of year goals for my business, as well as planning some fun activities with friends and family. Have you thought ahead about what its going to take to end the year strong in both your professional and your personal life?

Katharine Graham said, “To love what you do and feel like it matters — how could anything be more fun?” My wish for each of you this season is to take a page from the first American female Fortune 500 CEO. Make room for the joy and be open to every possibility for growth. Revisit the spark that connects you to your business. I am so grateful to each

of you and for the continued opportunity to learn and grow from you through our interactions and relationships. Don't forget to do something nice for yourself this month!

Be ready to cross some names off your holiday gift list with our Holiday Bazaar.

Warmly,

Laine Klug

In Loving Memory

With great sorrow, we share the news that our friend and longtime member, Rosemarie Litoff passed away on October 14th, 2025. Rosemarie brought her own special warmth to our network with her engaging and fun personality. No one will ever forget Rosemarie's iconic business commercials talking into her yellow landline phone. We will always cherish her memory.

Annual Bazaar

Come to our November Annual Betty's Boutique Holiday Bazaar and join our Gratitude Celebration

Every November, we host our annual holiday bazaar as part of our meeting. We hold it to honor one of our former members, Betty Potter Englishbee, who was actively involved as a Board member and volunteer for over twenty years. She was the heart of RSFBPW who kept everything organized behind the scenes. To remember Betty's dedication, we named this event Betty's Boutique Holiday Bazaar in her honor.

We invite you to shop from many of our members. You will also have the opportunity to network and share your gratitude for the lovely friendships that have blossomed in our group.

We also look forward to celebrating "Thanks-Giving" with you in November at our luncheon.

**Please note: There will be NO raffle at the November Meeting due to the holiday bazaar.

Shout-Outs and Testimonials

Time permitting, we end each meeting (January through October) with the opportunity to give shout outs and announcements; however, we always encourage you to send your friends a special email sharing your testimonial about the member you are highlighting. You can also post your Shout-Out on our RSFBPW Facebook page and on your own social media accounts.

Beware of Phishing Scams

Don't Take the Bait!

Please be aware that phishing scams are becoming more aggressive and elaborate. Members recently notified us that scammers are sending emails posing as Board Members to request money or information from members. These people comb business networking websites to get information and try to pose as members. RSFBPW will never solicit funds individually from members. The only fees associated with our association have a known protocol in place. Please block and report any suspicious activity right away. Thank you for helping to keep our members safe.

How to Recognize and Avoid Phishing Scams

Gentle Reminders

RSFBPW has an Anti-Spam Policy.

RSFBPW requires Business Attire and Etiquette at all meetings.

If you are interested in becoming a member of our women's Rancho Santa Fe, Business and Professional Women's Association, you must attend two meetings as a visitor, then apply for membership. We have 3 members per category, and if the category is not filled, you can submit the application to one of our board members for consideration. If the category is filled, we encourage you to continue to attend our meetings and network with our members. You can apply when the position opens. Any questions about membership, Contact our VP of Membership,Tammra Graves, at tammragraves@gmail.com or 760-434-6500.
